Welcome to our new Website
Hi all,
I have some very exciting news, an early Christmas present, the 1st Lyminge Scouts have a brand new Website! Take a look and let me know what you think.
We intend this to be our main online medium to promote the group, gain new members, share stories, pictures, news and details of upcoming events.
The site has been rigorously tested and we are not aware of any glitches, but as with anything new and particularly with something like this, where there are multiple hyperlinks around the site, if you do spot anything not working as it should then please do let me know. Also if there is anyone out there that is already familiar with WordPress, then your help would be greatly appreciated in helping to keep the site fresh, relevant and updated (I’m afraid its completely alien to me!).
This is only the beginning, I hope the site will evolve over time, we have quite a bit of direct control in being able to update the site content, layout etc, such that it continues to suit the group. We also have the 24/7 backup of the website provider.
Thank you to your trustees for delivering another first for the 1st Lyminge Scouts and a big thank you to Susan Carey and Jenny Hollingsbee, your local council members, for jointly funding the project.
